Mentions all over the place…

I’ve managed to get mentions all over the place this week.

Creating a Link Blog using Del.icio.us and RSS Bandit

I’ve been wanting to create a link blog for a while (just like Robert Scoble’s Link Blog), just a list of things I have been too but don’t want to clog my whole blog with. Well looks like Del.icio.us is the answer.

Flickr Screensaver v2

After feedback from Brian of randomseattle fame I’m releasing a second version of the previous screensaver.

First Flickr App - Screensaver

I’ve written my first proper Flickr application, a basic screensaver which will download pictures based on some basic configuration and then scroll through them.

Flickr.Net - my version

I found the Flickr.Net workspace over at GotDotNet (I’m not linking to the stupid thing as it doesn’t work! what a load of crap it is) which attempts to create a .Net library for accessing the Flickr API.

But basically it only did the upload picture bit, and none of the rest of the API, so I decided to do the lot. So far I’ve written all the code except for the upload bit, as well as a test set and a sample application. I plan on submitting the work either to the Flickr.Net team or something later on.

Nepal - Arriving and first impressions.

Hindu templeThe first part of our trip to Nepal, our arrival and trip around Kathmandu.

Flicktion

I’ve been uploading my photos of Nepal over at Flickr and browsing at some of the wonderful images over there, and I came across this wonderful concept. Using some facinating photos of doorbells of Florence, short pieces of fiction have been written (hence Flicktion).
